When you are messaging an assignors that is not through a game, but through the assignors list, you should be able to view past messages sent out.

Is there a way to add 2-step verification or an authenticator app? I would prefer the option to use an authenticator app to keep my accounts secure.

Feature Request: Customizable Self-Assign Notifications Objective: I would like to receive notifications when new self-assign opportunities become available that match my specific parameters, including location, date range, and specific competitions. This feature would allow me to quickly act on available slots before they are taken by others. Proposed Solution: Set Notification Preferences: Allow users to set their preferences for notifications based on: Location (e.g., city, region) Date range (e.g., specific dates or ranges) Specific competitions or event types Real-Time Notifications: When the assignor releases new games for self-assign, send an immediate notification via email or push notification (if enabled on the app) to users who have set matching criteria. Quick Access: Include a direct link in the notification to the self-assign page, where users can quickly claim the available slot. Benefit: This feature would enhance the user experience by ensuring officials don't miss out on opportunities that fit their availability and preferences, leading to more efficient assignment processes and higher satisfaction among officials.

US Soccer Supplemental Report Format

Is it possible to template the content entered into a RefInsight Incident Report into a US Soccer Supplemental Report for compliance reasons? Arbitration committees are not accepting RefInsight reports and it’s creating double/duplicate work for officials to fill both.

Some times it is better to go dark mode to stop the strain in the eyes.

Conflict entry

Many of the youthful referees I assign also play for a team in the area. It would be beneficial to have the ability for the referee to align themselves with a team (their own or a sibling). This would allow for optimizing the referee at a location.

Be able to move sidebar buttons around.

It would be nice to move the sidebar order around based on what I use most.

Previously Declined

When assigning a referee to a position, it would be nice to have an indicator that shows they have previously declined that game/position. Assigning out into the future, it gets difficult to remember who has previously declined certain games, causing a lot of re-assignments.

Reporting field for parent name & email

When downloading a report from a filtered search in the directory, it would be nice to have parent name and email as a column so it would spit that out in the cvs file. Right now it doesn’t look like that info is an option for the directory to show? Thanks guys!

All Assignments Report Missing Much Data

Please update the “All Assignment Report” to include all data that a referee needs and move all the useless data to the end of report. Any item in bold italics is not currently there and needs added. Suggested order: Date/Time, Field, Site, Age, Match Level, Gender, Half Length, Referee Name, AR1 Name, AR2 Name, 4th Official Name, Home Team Name, Away Team Name, Match Key (a.k.a. Game#), Pay Amount. Caution/Incident Report - Add variables to columns

From Victor Borges: The question was whether we can add the timestamp, referee name and referee email variables to the Caution/Incident Report - the same way it was added to the Match/Incident Report.

Remove CANCELED games from pop-up

On the Assigning Workspace page on the Officials (right) side, when you you click the link for an official in the SDA, ±3, or ±7 column, a pop-up windows appears with a quick list of games assigned for the official that is filtered the link pressed (i.e. SDA, ±3, ±7). The bug is that this pop-up includes CANCELED matches (guessing many other non-SCHEULED) matches too. Really it should only include SCHEDULED matches as the main purpose of this quick link is for assignors to see what games are assign/accepted by an official when doing assigning. Without any indication that match is CANCELED in pop-up makes it seem the official is not-available for a new assign when in fact they really are.

Add +/-30 and +/-90 day column options to Assigning Workspace

Feature request is to create a new +/-30 and +-/90 day column options on the Assigning Workspace screen. This is similar to how the SDA, +/-3 and +/-7 day assignment counts on the Assigning Workspace page would work. This feature would allow an assignor to quickly lookup season game counts for a someone more equitable number of games for officials vs. individually looking up how many games one official has over another official for the season when there are groups of newer officials of other grouping of officials.

Saving Filters

It would be nice to save filters based on column criteria to use again later (e.g. Self-Assign workflows). Sorry if it’s built in and I missed it. Thanks!

Referee ics calendar feed/link

The ics calendar emails are OK for assignments, but are too static. It would be nice to have a calendar link so a referee can subscribe via their google/yahoo/outlook calendar and then updates to the assignments happen automatically. (Feature parity with Arbiter, Assignr, USOfficials, etc)

Multi-Location Referees

Wisconsin has a large college network around the state. I have a ton of referees who referee while they are in college at X but also referee when they are back home at X. Because they list their home address as their home address in RI, I can’t see them when I filter by zip code or city for a distribution list or creating pools. I just simply have to remember they exist. Would be nice to have a way for assignors to see referees in their area that may not list that as their full time address? Or have a way for referees to manually mark another zip code they also live in?

Club mapping - differences between Assignor & Corporate portal

Creating a club in the Assignor portal abbreviates the country to “USA” instead of the full spelling. No option to enter postal code. No other to enter countries other than the US, though that’s available in the corporate portal. Within the corporate portal, even though the full spelling of the state is chosen from the dropdown list, it displays as the state abbreviation. It will display the full spelling of the state only if I create the club from the Assignor portal. Need some clean-up on Aisle 15 please.

Mass Import officials names into match roles for existing matches

Needs additional scoping. For various reasons (usually for tournaments), assignors have matches set up in RI and want to import the names of the officials into the match roles that exist from an outside source. PRO Talent ID and other assignors have requested it.

Notification delete ability (and search)

Provide the ability for officials to delete old notifications or notifications that do not apply/are not relevant to them. A simple search tool to find ones they need or refer back to would also be helpful.

Preferences for Officials - Limit travel time/distance

Allow officials to limit what they’re available for by travel time or distance. Travel / Distance Conflicts Roles / Match Level / Gender Free text visible to the assignors (tooltip/hover)

Freeze column headers in the assigning workspace

In the assignor workspace, freeze the column header so that when we are scrolling down, we can still see the header. (by Greg Golden)

Ability to add "Do not assign" or "Suspend Official"

Full admins need the ability to suspend an official for a particular length of time without dissociating the official from the account. Need to scope out how to handle them in the assigning workspace (unavailable, maybe with a rule issue that says “Full Admin block” or something), and ensure they cannot self-assign.

Allow attachments to be added to messages

Priorities for attachments are PDFs and Microsoft Office docs (Word, Excel, PPT). Maybe pic files (.png, .jpeg, etc.) I don’t think video files (mp3, mp4) are needed at the moment.

Notes in messanger

We propose adding a private notes field to the message sending interface. This would allow users to attach personal notes to each message they send. These notes would be visible only to the sender when reviewing sent messages, providing a secure way to store context or reminders related to specific communications. This feature aims to enhance message management, improve follow-up efficiency, and maintain user privacy. Implementation should focus on a clear UI distinction from the main message and strict access controls to ensure note privacy.

Observer Reports - distribute

Allow the observers to distribute the observer report to an official. Some fields in the observer report should not be displayed (e.g. General comments - admin only). General comment field needs to be split into “displayed to Official” and “displayed to admin”.

Observer Report - currated dropdown for performance categories and terminology

The dropdown menus need to be different for in-person and video type observation submissions. Add in-person (yes/no) and video (yes/no) as toggles to the categories and the terminology.

Add Region to Filters in Refine Assignor Permissions

Use region as organizing principle for what assignors can assign — captures multiple sites in a Region.

Competitions - archive

Assignors need the ability to archive competitions that have been completed and no longer in “active” use.

In the assigning workspace, if the current assignment is in removed status, there should be a corresponding icon displayed next to the name.

when a slot is open (nobody assigned) and the match is setup for self-assign, display a self-assign badge to the assignor can see that it is still open for self-assign.

Observer Form - video URL

when the observation type is “video”, give the user an option to add the video URL as free text.

Observer Reports - display in profile view

Observer Reports are currently only visible under the Evaluation tab, and displayed as a master list. Add Observer should also be visible when viewing an individual official, only showing the reports captured for that individual. Visible to all admins.

Ref Abuse/Assault notifications - by Competition

The admins love the ref abuse/assault notifications across the account. Lead assignors would like the ability to also receive these notifications for the competitions they are responsible for. Can we get a toggle within the Competition to notify the Lead Assignor when a ref abuse/assault incident report is submitted? If we were to future-proof it, then the owner or competition admin could select multiple people to receive ref abuse/assault incident reports for that specific competition.

Misc/Other in Incident Reports

Can we please add a Misc/Other option to the incident report section of Match Reports. We need somewhere to put incidents that don’t fit the other categories. Thank you, Andrew

Assignments Report for Directory

It would be helpful to look at the health (data) of the referee Directory and how many officials received how many Assignments in order to be able to tell “Active” officials vs not. Essentially, utilization data and how efficient the Directory is being used (whether by assignor choice or referee availability).

Competitions - Clone

Competitions that are for a specific season (e.g. “Spring”) have complex settings, making it inconvenient for assignors to replicate for a different season (e.g. “Fall”). They would like to keep the seasons in separate competitions. The ability to clone a competition and all of its settings would be much more convenient compared to recreating all the settings manually.

Assigning Workflow - Saved Templates

The next iteration of the Assigning Workflow needs a way to save an assignor’s current configuration as a saved template that can be reused at a later time. This replaces the old History report that was shown from the assignor workspace.

Observer Report - responsive to feedback toggle

Instead of using an on/off switch, change this to yes/no so it’s clearer to the observer. Default to blank and make it mandatory.

Background checks outside the US Soccer Learning Center

Need the ability to “manually” enter background checks from states that either do not utilize the Learning Center, or have additional background checks that the Learning Center does not store/utilize. The Assigning Rule for background checks would need to search this area if it does not find a background check in the USSF Licenses database. This input area would be available to full-access admins and need the following items: Issuer: (not sure what the selections would be, it’s NCSI for the Learning Center) License Name: (not sure what the selections would be, it’s Background Check:Clear for the Learning Center, so maybe this manual area could use the same thing) Discipline: safety Type: safety_compliance Issue Date: Expiration Date: The Updated At, Status, and Days until Expires would be system-documented or calculated.

Assignment counts (past 12 months) accessibility in Assigning Workspace

From Scott Carney: One of bigger pain points for an assignor (who cares about the development of an official) with a much larger number of matches to assign and managing a larger ref pool is memorizing every official's experience to help them grow as an official, is to quickly see how many annual CR assignments and AR assignments an official has. The slow way to do this is by clicking the information icon to view the Past Assignments tab for every official not memorized yet. This request is to request new optional columns for the Assigning Workspace that would calculate the annual (past 12 months) of Center Referee accepted and annual (past 12 months) of accepted Assistant Referee assignments. Recommend some type of simple acronym column naming of ... - AR# (for Annual Referee count of center referee role), - AA# (for Annual Assistant count of AR1, AR2, Dual or 4th roles), - AO# (for Annual Observer count, even though I don't believe MI uses this feature yet)
