Hello Ref Insight Administrators,

We've expanded manual credential entry to include SafeSport licenses. If an official has completed a background check or SafeSport certification outside of the standard U.S. Soccer Learning Center process, you can now add both directly to their profile.

What's New

Manual Background Check Addition

Full-access administrators can manually add background checks directly to a person's profile, including:

• Background checks from providers external to the U.S. Soccer Learning Center

• Issue and Expiration dates

• How the background check was verified

Manual SafeSport Addition

Full-access administrators can manually add a SafeSport license directly to a person's profile, including:

• SafeSport licenses from providers external to the U.S. Soccer Learning Center

• Issue and Expiration dates

• How the SafeSport license was verified

Benefits

Complete Records: Maintain background check and SafeSport information even when checks are obtained through alternative channels or legacy systems.

How It Works

Navigate to any person's profile, locate the USSF Licenses section, and use the updated Add Background Check / SafeSport button. Add relevant details and save to the profile.
